I love that song "She Don't Like My Kind Of Music" by Ray Scott. I saw the video to it the other day on CMT and just loved it from the start. It's a nice little spoken verse, sung chorus tune. You don't hear many of them these days ( Read more... )

Willie Nelson is coming to neighbooring Bowling Green in August. I think it would be a sin to miss that show without a damn good reason. A very damn good reason. Bowling Green just seems to be getting better and better. First, George Jones plays a show there, now Willie's coming. I wonder who's next? Hank Jr would be very nice. I got Kevin Fowler's Live At Billy Bob's CD a few days ago, and it's awesome. Live CD's are usually great CD's to start off with when you're looking into someone that you haven't heard much of, because they have songs from multiple CD's. I watched CMT briefly today, and saw an awesome video that just made me *have* to hit up Itunes. This was no surprise to me, considering that it was a Charlie Robison tune.
